From estimation to completion, our experienced team is ready to handle your home’s water
    damage cleanup and restoration needs.

The actual water removal process itself differs depending upon whether the water is under your home or inside of it…

    Inside of Home

    • Our technicians will vacuum up water and use an ‘extractor’ to remove water from wood floors.
    • Furniture will be removed from affected areas or put up on blocks.
    • If the water damage is from dirty water, carpeting will likely need to be thrown away, however if the water is clean we’ll dry the carpet.
    • Carpet pads are thrown away because it is cheaper to replace than dry them. If there is water damage affecting a wall we will remove the baseboard and drill small holes in the wall.
    • This will allow air movement to dry the wall.
    • In the case that the drywall on an exterior wall gets wet, due to the installation inside the cavity, the dry wall will need to be replaced.

    Under the Home

    • First we turn off your water.
    • Next we extract the water water so that everything is no longer soaking wet.
    • If the problem was caused by a broken pipe, we’ll make sure that a plumber is able to access the pipe and make the repair.
    • If black or category 3 water leaks into the soil, soil will require to be excavated, chemically treated, and then sand will be laid over it.

If you are currently experiencing water damage here are few first aid restoration tips –
    • Turn off power outlets and electric appliances in or near flooded areas, as long as it is safe to do so.
    • You shouldn’t handle any electric devices while standing in water.
    • Make sure that the water source is turned off
    • Remove anything on the floor, including wet rugs
    • Remove paper products from the source of water right away
    • Mop up as much water as possible
    • Move paintings to a dry area
    • Move furniture out of the affected areas
    • Prop up wet furniture cushions for even drying
    • Open drawers and closet doors to decrease drying time
    • Wipe down furniture to get rid of excess moisture
